Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Sherman, Vintage, Late 1950's - True Sky Blue Color - Round and Marquise Shaped Crystals - Tiered Round
Crystal and Leaf Cluster Motif Earrings.
VERY RARE DESIGN & COLOR! - MINT CONDITION! - NO RESERVE!
These handsome and impressive earrings date from the late 1950's, made by the well known Canadian firm of "Sherman" designed as pair of tapered, oversize 1.25" tiered round crystal and leaf motif clusters layered and stacked for a 3-D effect. The earrings are done in a series of dazzling and intense true sky blue color round and marquise shaped crystals set in a rhodium plated setting.
The earrings are in mint condition showing very minimal use all the original stones, none missing or replaced with no small loss to the finish or plating on the back of the earrings.
The earrings are marked
on the back of the clips, Sherman in block letters.
SHERMAN
Sherman was a Canadian costume jewelry company that produced very high-quality pieces. Colorful or clear prong-set rhinestones or cut crystal beads (sometimes with an aurora borealis finish) adorn most Sherman pieces; the metal is rhodium-plated or gold-plated. "Jewels of Elegance" by Sherman was written on some carded Sherman jewelry. Sherman produced jewelry from 1947-1981.
